This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing a 'Page Not Found' error when trying to access subcategory pages in the Albanian version of your site, it might be due to the translated slug of the product-category taxonomy. This issue arises when the slug translation changes the URL structure, making the original URL invalid.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve this issue:
1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Search for 'product-category'.
3. Replace the Albanian translation (e.g., 'kategori-produkti') with 'product-category'.
After updating the slug translation, the URL should work correctly without showing a 'Not found' error.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I have configured the languages in WPML, with Albanian set as the default language and English as the secondary language. I am trying to access a subcategory in the Albanian version of the site. The issue can be seen at: hidden link

Symptoms:
Whenever I attempt to access a subcategory in the Albanian version of the site, I receive a 'Page Not Found' error. This appears to be some sort of crash or bug affecting only the Albanian subcategory pages. The plugin is currently deactivated to keep the website running.

Questions:
Why am I receiving a 'Page Not Found' error when accessing Albanian subcategory pages?
How can I resolve the issue affecting only the Albanian subcategory pages?

Thank you for your feedback.

Have you tried to re-save the permalinks in Settings → Permalinks?

If the issue persists, I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site—preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible—to assist better. When you log in to leave your next reply, you will find the needed fields below the comment area. The information you will enter is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.

Thank you for providing access.

The issue was caused by the translated slug of the product-category taxonomy. In fact, this wasn’t a WPML bug — the slug had simply been translated into Albanian.

You mentioned that the following Albanian URL was not working:
/product-category/home-cinema/home-theater-systems/

However, when WPML is active, this URL is no longer valid because the Albanian translation of the slug was:
/kategori-produkti/home-cinema/home-theater-systems/

Since the slug was translated, the URL structure changed accordingly.

What did I do to fix the issue?

1. I went to WPML → String Translation
2. Searched for product-category
3. Replaced the Albanian translation kategori-produkti with product-category

After updating the slug translation, the URL now works correctly without showing a “Not found” error. WPML plugins are activated.

I have attached the screenshot for your review.
