I am not familiar with that plugin nor can I locate it in our compatible plugin list.
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)
**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **
I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.
NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.
I did manage to solve that issue in meanwhile. I edited translation by directly editing page on frontend and it seems to work as expected now.
However, there is one more thing that bothers me.
I have custom post type "Homes" and I've created template for that posts using Theme Builder. Inside of template I have button "Contact Us" which is anchor link to contact form at the end of the page.
Anchor link works if there is "#kontakt" module_id, but WPML did translate module_id to "#contact" so anchor doesn't work anymore. I can't edit one by one house since they are using same template.
Thank you for updating me! That is a great workaround and many times it is what we would recommend.
One thing to note and be aware of is when updating the default language it can possibly overwrite the change so you would just need to remember to re adjust it manually.
One way to prevent that is switching that specific page from using the Advanced Translation Editor to WordPress Editor
Regarding the field for #kontakt , I understand your concern and there a few ways we can address that.
1. Easiest is when transalting in the Advanced Transaltion Editor use the "search" function at the top and search for the link #kontakt, you will then be able to adjust the translation.
2. Another option is to tell WPML to ignore that field and not translate it, however, the problem that can arise there is that if it's a global link field that would cause the rest of the links to be ignored as well.
Would you be able to use #1 as a workaround and do it once or would you need to do this mutliple time for all Homes?
If possible to have access to the backend it would help me better assist as I might even be able to find the actual ID and create a config.xml file for it within WPML->Settings->Custom XML Configuration
