Background of the issue:
I am trying to fix translation links in the header of my site hidden link after updating Elementor and other plugins. I have already tried deactivating each plugin to check for conflicts but found none.

Symptoms:
Translation links in the header refer to wrong pages after updating Elementor and other plugins.

Questions:
How can I fix the translation links in the header after updating Elementor and other plugins?

Hello there,

I will be helping you further on this issue.

To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.

Hello :),

For the language switcher widget in elementor, I set cache settings to Inactive and it's working for me on private browser, so can you try to check on your end after clearing out the cache.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello there,

Elementor has an in-build widget for language switcher, can you use that one instead of the shortcode that you are using right now and see if it helps?

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Maybe its better decision to restore backup version, to make a staging version and then try to find solution after that?

Hello there,

Yes, it makes sense as it looks like an error with caching + WPML + Elementor.

Let me know once the staging site is ready.

Thanks
