This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using the automatic process to translate your website and encounter issues with the translation of layout sections, specifically the portfolio archive. The layout section translates well, but when switching languages, it indicates that 'No custom templates have been created yet.' Additionally, you cannot use the '+' sign to manually add translations in the backend editor.
Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Delete the current layout.
2. Switch to all languages from the top-bar.
3. Create a new layout.
4. Under conditions, select categories from all languages.
5. Save the layout order.
For more detailed guidance, refer to the documentation on translating Avada layout sections, which advises setting all conditions in all languages.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I'm using the automatic process to translate my website. I have a problem with the translation of layout sections, particularly with a content layout section (portfolio archive). That means that the layout of my page isn't respected.

Symptoms:
The layout section is well translated, but when we switch the language, it is mentioned that 'No custom templates have been created yet.' If I want to edit the translation in the backend editor, I do not have the possibility to use the '+' sign to add manually the translation.

Questions:
How to display correctly the translated layout section?

Hello there,

Welcome to WPML support.

Can you go to WPML->Translation management, search for the layouts and translate it from there to see if it helps?

Further, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.

Thanks for your return.
I cannot translate them through translation management because they are already well translated...

These templates are managed in Avada > layouts

For Morvan, it's "Archives Morvan"

Hello there,

Can you check the issue now?

How did I fix the issue:

- I deleted the current layout
- Then from the top-bar switched to all languages
- Then I created a new layout
- On the conditions I select categories from all languages
- Then saved the layout order.

The documentation mentions to set all conditions in all languages.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks
