Hello,
Thank you for your patience,
I have downloaded and tried to run your site's backup on local but I kept getting errors, I was able to resolve most of them but I'm not able to run this customized theme, here is what happens when I enable it : hidden link
So I opted to use your dev site, the interesting thing that occurred, is that the moment I disabled WPML entirely, the "connexion" button disappeared, I then installed the newest WPML version to keep testing, but the backup kept crushing at 80% and I didn't have FTP access to check the error log.
Could you please check and restore the dev site for me?

Hello,
After further testing and checking with our team, the Twig code that you added under your theme is a custom code that is unfortunately doesn't fall under our support service,
Nevertheless, I tried different environments just to make sure that your site is configured correctly, the "Connexion" button disappears with the slightest change in WPML. So the update isn't necessary the cause of this.
I recommend contacting one of our contractors that could revise your custom code and apply the necessary changes for it to work : https://wpml.org/contractors/

Hello,
Sorry for not being clear about the Twig issue,
It is not that we do not support twig and macros, what I'm saying is that we do not offer customer support in issues related to custom codes, it is outside of our support scope, that is why your developer is the one responsible to adjust the code for it to work.

Hello again,
It all depends on what exactly got broken, as an example, if a plugin changed something that WPML isn't aware of, or they didn't ensure compatibility in their updates, or in your case, you are using a custom code that isn't part of any official plugin, theme or WPML module, we cannot adjust our plugin for each different custom code.
I really wanted to go the extra mile and learn more about this button code, and tried different environment, but I couldn't find a fix for it. I apologize for that.
This is why contacting a developer is a viable option in this kind of situations,
Thanks for your understanding,
