I have a compatibility issue between WPML and the HOUZEZ Theme. Translations on the Theme Options --> Translations page are displayed in Italian. I would like them, as it should be, to remain in English and instead be managed on the Plugin page (WPML --> String Translations). How can I ensure that the translations on the Theme Options --> Translations page are not translated into Italian? I have already reset the section multiple times, but after a while, the strings are translated into Italian again. Thank you very much. Sara

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

1.- Could you share screenshots or a link to a video where the theme options and the error can be seen? This will help me understand the issue.

2.- Please provide the debug information of the site in the section that appears below this ticket.

In this link, you will find the steps to follow: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Please don't paste the debug information within the ticket

Regards,
Carlos

As you can see, there is the translation into Italian, but I wouldn't want any translation to be done. So, I reset to the default language: English, but then it overrides my translation and puts it back into Italian.

Hello,
Thank you for your message

Please switch to English in the language switcher that appears in the admin bar at the top and add the strings in English. Then double-check if the issue disappeared.

No, I tried but it doesn't work... the translations always come back in Italian.

Hi there,

1.- Please share the URLs to see these strings in the back end and in the front end.

2.- I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. If we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.
