This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is unable to translate the 'add to cart', 'view cart', 'checkout', and 'subtotal' strings on their website using WPML.
Solution:
If you're experiencing issues with translating specific strings such as 'add to cart', 'view cart', 'checkout', and 'subtotal' on your website, we recommend the following steps:
1. Open a new incognito window and check if the issue persists. Sometimes, browser caching can affect the visibility of translations.
2. For strings that are still not translated, such as 'subtotal', navigate to WPML->String Translation in your website's admin panel. Search for the specific string you need to translate and apply the necessary translations there.
If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.
