Hi,
The automatic translations has finished but the image titles and alt texts haven't been translated. I need to translate the image titles and alt texts.
Perhaps this could be related to this ticket: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/translate-everything-automatically-not-working/ where you bypass the WPML Media Translation installation.
Could you help me?

Thanks for your patience. You're actually sharing your own ticket. But anyway, to translate your image titles and alt texts, please try using the media translation addon as explained here https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/#frequently-asked-questions

I've enabled the 'Translate media library texts with posts' option, but I can't see the media in translation management. I need to translate it using automatic translation.

Thanks for your reply. Since you've just enabled that option, please resave the primary language page so that the Advanced Translation Editor can resync the contents. Could you try and let me know how it goes?

I don't see that it's working.
Could you check my staging site?
Thank you

Thanks for your reply.

I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thank you. But I don't need this to work on individual posts, I need it to work on my entire website. Do I need to do something on every 44 pages, 11 posts and 5490 products?

Thanks for your reply. I've checked, and it looks like you'll need to resave the products. Here is the test product hidden link , resaving it will show the image title and the alt in the advanced translation editor.

You can try resending your pages/products for translation, but this will consume credits. There isn't another way around, unfortunately.

Can you ensure that resending the pages and products for translation will fix the issue with the image titles and alt texts?

Thanks for your reply. You can try sending one product for a test. If it works, then you can send a bulk over for translation again.

Hello,

Thanks for your help. This solution works for me.

I needed to translate image titles and alt texts since the beginning of this project. Now, I would have to send everything to automatic translation again, and it will consume credits once more. I will spend double the credits and money than my initial budget.

Could it be possible for you to return the credits I've wasted until now? This way, I could send everything to automatic translation again without spending double the credits and money.

Thank you, again.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, credits that are spent cannot be refunded, as explained here https://wpml.org/faq/can-i-get-a-refund-for-automatic-translation-credits/

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I think it's different situation because the image titles and alt texts are the main object of this work and I came here searching for help with that but you never told me that with "Translate everything" didn't actually include everything.
Now I have to spend double the budget.
Is there any way you could make an exception and help me with this?

Thanks for your reply. I understand, but unfortunately, this is the only available solution at the moment. If you’d prefer not to use additional credits, the only workaround would be to manually edit and resave each product individually.
