This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
After migrating from SiteGround to Elementor Hosting, the client is experiencing issues with the language switcher on their website. The switcher is not responding when switching from English to French and vice versa. Additionally, the footer language switcher does not display on the French pages, and there are redirection issues to the default language page.
Solution:
1. Enable the Footer language switcher from WPML >> Language page to test if that switcher works.
2. Clear the browser cache and try accessing the site with different browsers.
3. Check for any server or hosting-level redirects that might be affecting the language switcher, such as .htaccess, server configuration, or caching/CDN settings.
4. Visit the WPML >> Support >> Troubleshooting page and press the 'I have cleared the Elementor Host Advanced Caching' button.
5. Attempt to access the French-speaking front page via https://alarme-maison.ca and then try switching languages.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it might be due to outdated solutions or specific configurations not covered here. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I have just migrated to a new host, namely Elementor Hosting, from SiteGround. I am trying to switch from English pages to French pages on my website or vice versa. The issue can be seen at hidden link.

Symptoms:
The language switcher on the live site is not responding.

Questions:
Why is the language switcher not working after migrating to Elementor Hosting?
Is there a configuration change needed for the language switcher to work on the new host?

I have cleared the Elementor Host Advanced Caching. Can you try again to see if accessing hidden link renders the French-speaking front page?

If so, try the English button, either on top or at the bottom of the page.

If it works, then on the English front page, click on the French button.

Thanks for the update. I tried again (with VPN and incognito), but hidden link is still redirecting to hidden link with a 301 redirect. This suggests the redirect is still active at the server level. You may want to double-check any server or hosting-level redirects (like .htaccess, server config, or caching/CDN settings).

Let me know once you’ve checked.

Thank you
