This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where the Italian language is not showing up in the WPML language selector, even though they have translated content into French and Portuguese.
Solution:
We recommend checking if the content has been translated into Italian. It's important to ensure that the Italian translation is published and not in a 'draft' or 'under review' status. If the content is not translated into Italian, the language selector will not display the Italian flag.

If after verifying the translation status the problem persists, we suggest visiting our known issues page and checking for any related issues. Also, confirm that you have the latest versions of WPML, themes, and plugins installed.

If the solution provided here does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket. You can reach out to us on our support forum for further assistance.

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I have made the translation for french and Portuguese, but the Menu language selector is not showing italian although I think it is configured.

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi there.

Can you please let me know if you translated the content already in Italian?

Because if the content was not translated already, seeing just one of the language flags (one language) in the language switcher is something normal.

Please check if the page that you are looking at has been translated - or if the translation has been published and is not in "draft" mode or "under review" status.

Please let me know how that goes.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei
