[Resolved] Multisite sub-sites link URLS not being translated or apending querystring
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: If you're experiencing issues where your site's content translates into French, but URLs in the navigation or on-page links do not translate or include the query string to maintain the language setting, this might be due to your theme or settings. This issue was noted specifically with sites using the Bricks theme, where the main site functions correctly, but subdomains do not. Solution: First, we recommend checking our documentation on translating menus. If you are using the Bricks theme, there have been similar issues reported. Solutions may involve activating a specific WPML setting or adjusting how links are added in Bricks templates. You can find more details in these discussions:
Additionally, ensure the 'Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality' option under 'Make themes work multilingual' is enabled in your WPML settings.
If these solutions do not resolve your issue or if the information provided becomes outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket.

If you scroll to the bottom of this site and translate it into French you will see that the site content is translated but if you click a URL (nav or on page) they aren't being translated or having the querystring added to keep it in French.
Other considerations:
+ This does not happen on the main site at edify.org which is working as expected.
+ It's also happening on ea.edify.org
+ The blog posts are working correctly on both ea.edify.org and wa.edify.org. For an example, see the two stories under Impact towards the bottom of hidden link.
While one of my colleagues gets assigned to this ticket, I would like to try to gather some more information about your issue.
I have visited your site, and I can confirm that no link from the top menu, or the bottom menu entries, are getting the proper translated URL together with the language URL query parameter. I see that link labels are indeed translated, but URLs are not.
On the other hand, I see that links are translated in the middle of the page, under the section "Impact au Ghana". Both entries listed below show proper link labels and URLs. This makes me think that the problem that you are experiencing is related to how menu items are translated.
Thanks for the quick reply. I can verify that it's more than a menu issue because any page level content doesn't translate except for the posts that you noticed out at the bottom of the pages ("Impact au Ghana"). For example, the Training, Loans, Ed Tech cards on the home page at hidden link don't translate and I've checked other pages with links and found the same.
I do think it might have something to do with Bricks because the posts are working fine and even the links in the posts work. For example at the bottom of the post content at hidden link the link "En savoir plus sur Edify au Ghana." is working.
Not sure what it all means. Thanks for any additional direction you can give.

I tested this on your website but was not able to find a solution. I also tried to reproduce the issue on a fresh test site, and there it works correctly.
I will now escalate this further to our 2nd tier so they can investigate and advise.
