I am trying to: Continue to referenced translated blocks of text within a translated page. This has worked before, not been edited in recent memory, and now does not.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: French translated content appearing here. (see page screenshot)

Instead, I got: The default English. Translations are submitted, completed, and up to date.

This is a on a page that itself has been translated but shares common elements as part of a series where we wanted certain things to be editable in one central location.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

As you mentioned that you may have already registered this widget in the past, there are chances that some new updates to the page builder and/or particularly to the widget architecture, may require to register the widget again (with updated information).

Can you please try registering this widget again? See https://wpml.org/documentation/support/maintaining-wpbakery-page-builder-compatibility-with-wpml/ for details.

You 'll need to remove existing registration or modify it with newly changed info. Then make a small change to the content, save and update the translation.

Please let me know if it works for you or I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.

Regards.

Hello Waqas, appreciate the reply. I read the article a couple of times and am not sure i understand the issue, I think because I don't recall doing any type of special registering in the first place when I started on the implantation of these shortcodes. Do I need a custom XML snippet to handle any shortcodes I create using this service? These were working when these articles were first set up. Thanks again for your patience, and apologies for not really understanding... I promise you the effort and attitude is there! Have a nice weekend.

Thank you for the updates and have a good weekend you too 🙂

I need to take a closer look at your site. So I request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP), preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your next answer will be private, to share this information safely.

Also provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue and links to pages in admin and on frontend.

IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss. I may need to activate/deactivate plugins also.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

P.S.: I'll be able to get back to you on Monday.
