Background of the issue:
I am trying to display posts from the English 'Resorts' category using the 'Smart Post Show' plugin on the English site. The category 'resorts' is translated into Spanish and Italian as 'Resorts ES' and 'Resorts IT'. The posts are also translated. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
When displaying posts in the English 'Resorts' category, posts from all three languages are shown instead of only the English posts.

Questions:
Why are posts from all languages being displayed when I only want English posts?
How can I configure the 'Smart Post Show' plugin to display posts from a specific language?

Hi,

This seems to be a compatibility issue with the "Smart Post Show" plugin.

Usually the plugin needs to make sure the supressfilter option in WP Query is set to false.

I am not sure if the plugin in question does that or not.

To be able to report the compatibility issues we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation.
I created a clean installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below:

Kindly follow the steps below:

- Install the plugin.
- Add a few test posts and d categories and translate them (just ad da character to know it is translated)
- Use the plugin to add a post list on a page and replicate the issue

This will help us to report the probable issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible problem faster.

Thanks.
