This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are experiencing issues with the currency switcher not working correctly in conjunction with geolocalisation and caching. You've noticed that changing the currency by altering the country in the billing address doesn't update as expected, and using a VPN to change currencies results in cache misses.
Solution:
We've investigated the issue and found that the problem stems from the currency settings configured on your site. Specifically, CAD is only available in Canada, and USD is available in all countries except Canada. This configuration means that there is no region where two currencies are available simultaneously, rendering the currency switcher ineffective in your current setup. To resolve this, you might need to adjust the availability settings of your currencies to ensure that more than one currency is available in the regions you are targeting.
