Hi, I would like to clarify the issue a bit.
We have a product that is associated with several product categories.
The default state for WC is that for this product I can access through any of the categories' URLs.
Currently, WPML is Deactivated and for a product named 'fungisal-p'.
All these URLs will work and show the same product and keep the URL with the category slug.

Once I activate WPML, If I try to access any of the links above that are not the 'chicken-products' category URL they are all redirected back to the chicken-products URL - thus not allowing me to view the product under the other categories URL.
This is the issue I am trying to resolve, i want to have WMPL active and still keep the product categories' URLs available.
I hope this is now clear and you can help me resolve this.
After toggling the WPML plugin on and off, I've noticed that the links no longer behave as they did previously. When I click on the links you provided earlier, they all seem to redirect me to the "chicken-products" category. Could you please verify this?
Could you also provide instructions on how to select a category for a product so that it shows up as the category slug?
If the links still redirect you the the chicken-products URL after WMPL is off -most likely this is a browser redirect cache - you can add any GET param and that should work
I am not sure about the second thing you asked - instructions to select a category slug?
I can replicate the issue now and I will escalate this further to our 2nd Tier Support for further investigation. I will come back to you once I've feedback.
I appreciate your understanding. I currently don't have any solutions or new information regarding this issue, but I will inform you promptly once I receive an update from our second-tier support team.
Kor - It's not a personnel question to you as Kor, No one cares that we have a defect that caused by the solution designed by WPML. These defects prevent the client from fulfilling his expectations from the website - why do you allow such a problem to exist without a solution for so long time? Probably cause you can.
Why you do not report on progress on solving the problem? cause you can.
Enjoy the "can" - I'm sure that one day someone bigger than you will treat you in the same manner cause they CAN
