Background of the issue:
I was trying to use the ATE for automatic translation in my WordPress site, but encountered an issue with language mapping.

Symptoms:
I received the message: 'Translation status Your default language, English, must be mapped to a supported language in order to use automatic translation' and my ATE stopped working with an ATE Server Communication error. When attempting to choose mapping, there are no languages available to select.

Questions:
Why is the ATE asking for language mapping?
How can I resolve the ATE Server Communication error?
Why are there no languages available to choose for mapping?
