Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my website using WPML. Some pages complete the translations, while others do not. I have tried making a change, re-adding it to the basket, and re-translating, but the same result occurs. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
The 'Complete translation' button won't work. I expected to see a translation completed sign, but instead, I got nothing.
Questions:
How come some pages won't complete the translations?
What can I do to resolve the issue with the 'Complete translation' button?
Thanks for the video. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for the account. Please check if the translation editor works correctly.
I've done the following:
1– Go to the top right corner of the translation editor
2– Click the gear icon
3– Disable "I prefer bigger segments"
4– Edit the page in the default language
5- Make a minor edit
6- Update the translation
Best regards,
Osama
