Background of the issue:
I am trying to fully disable the WPML Translation Editor and use only the WordPress Editor. We have different designs for English and Irish pages, and some pages are only in one language. I saw an FAQ about switching to Settings > Choose mode, but it's no longer available. We don't want to use the translation queue as it's causing issues for our client.

Symptoms:
There are warnings about potentially losing work if we edit the page in WPML Translation Editor. Draft preview is not updating and not showing the latest live preview.

Questions:
How can I disable the WPML Translation Editor completely?
Why is the draft preview not updating to show the latest live preview?

Hi,

To resolve this, please select the "WordPress Editor" from the right-hand sidebar of the page or post, as shown in this guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/

Once selected, the page will no longer be connected to the WPML Translation Editor, and the warning message will disappear.

Regarding the draft preview, do you have a specific example I could look at?

Best regards,
Marcel

Is there any way to automatically apply this to all posts and pages on the site?
