Hello,

I'm using a development/staging site (hidden link) for all the work. When I'm finished with the changes I push this staging environment to Live (hidden link).

But now with WPML, how can I do this?
On the development site I get the message as I have inlcluded the attached screenshot.

What is the best way that I work on the staging environment and push to the Live environment?

Thanks.

Hi,
This morning I pushed my site from Development to Live. I'm hosting my site at Kinsta.com and I'm sure the migration went successfully.

When I logon on production, I get the following message, see attachment.

How can I solve this?

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting WPML support. This is a known issue and we have an errata for this. Check out this link https://wpml.org/errata/persistent-warning-this-site-has-moved-to-a-new-location/ and try the workaround provided and let us know how it goes.

Hi Kor,

I applied your suggested changes to the PHP-config.

A few minutes ago I did a migration from the Test-enviroment to Live.
After I logged on into production hidden link I get the message, as shown in the attachment of this message.

What does it exactly mean? And are the translations, that I did on the Test-environment successfully published to the Live-site? Can I always do the translations on Test?

Thanks for your reply.

Ok, please click on the link "indicate that this site..." and it should allow you to use the Translation Management on your production site.

As for your test site, you can use the same method to allow translation on your test site. Then pass it back to your production site once it's done. This method allows sharing translation memory and credits as explained here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/using-advanced-translation-editor-when-you-move-or-use-a-copy-of-your-site/
