Background of the issue:
I am trying to set up my domains in WPML. My main domain is models118.com, which is in English for a global audience. I purchased models118.co.uk for the UK market and want both domains to serve the English version of my website as independent domains, with models118.co.uk indexed separately for the UK market. I want the content duplicated between both domains without separate translations.
Symptoms:
When I try to add the UK as a language, the system does not allow it. I created a separate language for the UK, but I receive a message saying this language will not work properly.
Questions:
How can I configure WPML to allow models118.co.uk to serve the English version of my website as an independent domain?
What is the correct way to set up models118.co.uk to be separately indexed for the UK market while duplicating content from models118.com?

It looks like your domain is not correctly pointed to the root of your WordPress installation. You can perform a simple test to check this:
1) Create a file named test.txt in the root folder of your server.
2) Try to access it using your secondary domain.
3) If you’re unable to see the file when accessing it from the secondary domain, it means the domain is not properly configured. This would explain why you're unable to save the settings in WPML.
