Background of the issue:
I'm building my pages using a combination of Gutenberg blocks and ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), including flexible content and repeaters. The site I need help with is hidden link.
Symptoms:
When I open a page for translation via WPML's default translation editor, not all the ACF or Gutenberg fields are shown. Some fields inside ACF repeaters or flexible content fields are completely missing from the translation screen, even though they are present on the original page. This causes incomplete translations and inconsistent content across languages. The issue appears only in some ACF fields (especially nested or dynamic ones), while others show up correctly.
Questions:
Why are some ACF fields missing in the WPML translation editor?
How can I ensure all ACF and Gutenberg fields appear in the WPML translation editor?
Thanks for contacting us. I'd need to check your setup and I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
