Background of the issue:
I am trying to update the Arabic translation of a product on my site hidden link after making changes to the original version. I used WPML to manage the translations.

Symptoms:
The product translation remains in 'in progress' status after I clicked on 'complete translation'.

Questions:
Why does the product translation remain in 'in progress' status after clicking 'complete translation'?

I just re-checked the website, and noticed I don't have access to the plugins tab, which I'd need to create a copy of the website. In this case, please share a staging version of the website, with plugin access, so I can check for conflicts and make the necessary future tests.
