Background of the issue:
I am using WPML on my site hidden link and have set the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) as the default translation method. I have reviewed the documentation at https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-advanced-translation-editor/ to ensure proper setup.

Symptoms:
Some pages still open with the Classic Translation Editor (Legacy Editor) instead of the Advanced Translation Editor, even though ATE is set as the default. This issue occurs with both previously translated pages and some newly created ones.

Questions:
Can you help ensure all translations open with the Advanced Translation Editor?

Hello,

By default old translations will remain open on the Classic Translation Editor.

You can switch this behavior at WPML > Settings > Translation Editor by marking the checkbox to use the Advanced Translation Editor also for existing translation.

IMPORTANT:
If you switch this setting the old translations will not be available inside the Advanced Translation Editor and you will need to create them again.

Best regards
Andreas
