Hi,
I'm glad to have discovered what triggers unwanted page translation.
Just open the translation page (without doing anything) and close it without saving
I save what I did today in a video file:
1 - log in to the administrator
2 - open the Thai and English translation page
3 - I don't touch anything
4 - I close the tabs
5 - the first Thai page changes to French language, but not the english version.
you can check with wp log viewer, I haven't touched anything
I logged out, I'm waiting for your return

Thanks for the video.

I've been trying to reproduce the problem you showed, but cannot.

Checking the current state of the English and Thai pages I saw that it was one Headline block in particular that was still showing the French text.

To repair those pages, given that yesterday I had deleted the custom XML added to the WordPress settings which was introducing problems, I edited the French original page and re-saved it. I then opened the translation for the English page and re-saved it, and did the same with the Thai page.

That returned the page to a state where all languages were displaying correctly, with no French text displaying on the other pages.

Then I set about trying to reproduce what you showed in the video. I opened the English and Thai pages in separate tabs, and clicked the links to edit the translation, so that both opened the translation editor.

I then closed both of those tabs without making any changes.

Reviewing the Activity Log, I see my viewing the page, but no page updates.

And when I visit the English and Thai pages on the front end, both still look correct.

Given that the problem text was with the Headline block the underlying problem may also have been related to that custom XML we have now removed.

Let's keep an eye on these pages for a few days to see if the problem recurs.

If you have other pages that have a similar problem and it relates to the Headline block, I suggest you re-save the French version of the page, then open and re-save the translations, which should essentially reset the page and its translations.

Let me know if the problem resurfaces.

you can't see what happened, why did the page change language by itself?

Hi,
as I said here; the links to the store are in French:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/front-page-stay-in-thai-lingual-after-translation/page/6/#post-15725441

you say that you have resolved it, but I see that it is not resolved, perhaps it still changes on its own; I've already solved it several times, but the link goes back to the French link, it's the problem.
Thank you for credits, I appreciate

Hi,
this morning, the link points to the correct language, I haven't touched anything. These changes without intervention are really boring. I made a backup.
Enjoy your vacations
