This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is trying to create different footer layouts for each language in Divi using WPML, but the same layout appears for all languages.
Solution:
To create distinct footer layouts for each language in Divi using WPML, follow these steps:
1. Access Your Divi Layout Posts: Navigate to your Divi layout posts by visiting https://sonnenhof-igls.at/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=et_body_layout.
2. Edit the Footer in Your Default Language: Locate and edit the footer layout you created in your site's default language.
3. Switch to the Target Language: Use the language switcher in the top WordPress admin bar to switch to the language for which you want to create a separate footer.
4. Manually Translate and Update the Layout: Duplicate the default language footer's content and manually translate all text, images, or other elements within the Divi builder. Replace all content blocks with their translated equivalents.
5. Save Your Changes: After translating and adjusting the layout, update or publish the layout to save your changes.
Note: Stick to this manual method for your footer translations to avoid overwriting any changes if you later use WPML's Translation Dashboard or the Advanced Translation Editor.
