This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where your translated URLs are displaying with page IDs instead of the expected slugs, it might be due to the pages not being published. In WordPress, unpublished or draft pages default to using page IDs in their URLs.
Solution:
We recommend checking the status of the pages in question. Please navigate to your pages section and ensure that these pages are indeed published. This action should resolve the issue of URLs displaying with page IDs.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to have translated URLs use the page names rather than page IDs. For some reason, the translated pages are showing up with ID#s. Example URLs: English: hidden link Spanish: hidden link English: hidden link Spanish: hidden link. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
The translated URLs are displaying with page IDs instead of the expected slugs.

Questions:
Why are the translated URLs using page IDs instead of slugs?
How can I configure WPML to use slugs for translated URLs?

Hi there,

When reviewing the URLs it looks like they are not published yet.

WordPress by default sets the URLs to use the page IDs when a page is not published and is in a draft state.

Please go to pages and review these pages to verify they are published.

Let me know your results, please.
