Hey, Team!

I restored the backup and started the process of removing the Spanish content. But unfortunately, the process is stuck again at the same stage. I think this is happening due to the Event plugin but I'm unsure. Can you please verify it?

For reference, you can check my last conversation with Shakhar.

Hello Adnan,

Can you provide me backup of your site, so I can replicate it on my localhost and debug this further, since we already did the tests on the staging site.

I have enabled the private reply for you.

Thanks

I've deleted the content of the other language which was (Spanish). Is there any way in WPML settings that my other language pages/posts slug redirects to the original pages/posts?

For example:
This Spanish slug hidden link should redirect to their English page i.e: hidden link

Thank you.

Hi,

We don't have a particular setting that does the redirect. WordPress usually checks for similar web addresses and redirects them automatically. But if it's not working for this specific web address, I recommend creating a redirect using a redirection plugin.

Thanks

I'm currently exploring options for importing all Spanish page/post URLs while maintaining their connection to their original page/post in WPML. My goal is to utilize them seamlessly with the Redirect plugin.

Could you please provide guidance or assistance on how to achieve this? Any insights or suggestions you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello there,

I am not sure if I understand your request properly, initially the ticket was opened to delete the content, but you mentioned that you want to import all spanish pages posts now? Are you willing to keep both languages now?

If you want to create redirects for every post/pages deleted, I am sorry to let you know that we don't have options as such and implementing such feature will require custom code work.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks
