In my posts page (home.php default page for posts) I see one post triplicated, only in the translations page.
I cloned the site to a local copy and tested it with a default WP theme, and the problem is still there.
In the main language it is correct: hidden link
But in the translations you can see that one post is triplicated in the ES version and another post is triplicated in the EN version (and this also happens with twentytwentyfour theme hidden link): hidden link ("Enric Batlle participa en el ciclo de conferencias Nicolau Maria Rubió Tudurí en Gran Canaria" x3) hidden link ("Debate – Presentation of the book “Merging City and Nature” on December 12 in Madrid" x3)
When I disable WPML, I get just one copy of each translation correctly in the loop, that's why I'm thinking it might be related to WPML. hidden link
I tried to click different "troubleshooting" buttons in the WPML settings but it didn't help.
Any idea what might be causing this?
I could delete and recreate these posts and hope that something so rare doesn't happen again, but I wonder if you have any knowledge of similar cases and the origin of this?
I understand the issue you're having and will try my best to assist you in this matter.
This issue often arises from using a plugin that enables duplication of pages or posts. Are you using such a plugin on your site? If so, it's quite likely that this plugin is the source of the problem.
Since the extra copies have already been made, I would appreciate it if you could delete them and carefully observe when exactly these duplicates are being created. If you manage to identify any specific action leading to this issue, please inform me in your next message. I will then review the situation and advise you on the next steps.
Looking forward to your response and I'm ready to offer any additional assistance you may need.
Best regards,
Prosenjit
