Background of the issue:
I am trying to use WPML after migrating to a new server. The site remains the same (same URL, same settings), but now WPML is asking for a migration code. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
WPML is asking for a migration code, even though the site URL has not changed.
The WPML dashboard appears empty, preventing me from managing translations.
I received an error message:
"Error with copying translation information to new URL"

Everything else on the site is functioning correctly except WPML.

Questions:
Why is WPML asking for a migration code when the site URL has not changed?
How can I resolve the issue of the empty WPML dashboard after server migration?

Hello,

WPML must be re-registered after every website migration or after changing the domain or domain provider.

1) Go to https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/

2) If the site URL is already registered, delete it from the list.

3) Now enter the site URL again. This creates a new site key.

4) Click on "Show key" and copy it.

5) Enter the key under Plugins > Install > Commercial (tab) to re-register WPML. If WPML is still registered here, de-register it first.

If the problem persists, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas
