This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
A client is concerned that all users, including customers, are automatically subscribed to notifications about pending translations upon registration. This checkbox is visible and checked by default in WP Admin > User > Edit User > WPML Translator Settings.
Solution:
We have confirmed that only registered translators who are assigned to a translation job will receive these notifications. Customers who are not designated as translators will not receive these emails, despite the checkbox being ticked. We recommend testing this behavior on your side to ensure it functions as expected.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check the related known issues and verify that you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed. If the problem persists, we encourage you to open a new support ticket.
