Background of the issue:
I am trying to use an ACF clone field with a repeater that includes a link field set to translate. When I enter the English translation, it appears correctly on the front end of the site. However, in wp-admin, I see the original Dutch (NL) translation. If I update the page again in wp-admin, it reverts to the NL version. The English translation is saved and displayed properly on the front end but not retrieved correctly in wp-admin. The issue can be seen at hidden link.
Symptoms:
In wp-admin, after the first update, I see the English translation, but after a second update, it reverts to the Dutch (NL) translation.
Questions:
Why does the English translation not persist in wp-admin after updating?
How can I ensure the English translation is displayed correctly in wp-admin?
It looks like its working on sandbox testing site. This is a new installation. Is it possible that my issue occur because it's basicly started with an old WPML version and several times updated? Is there a way to clean up old data or do a recovery to make the site work properly on the latest version
It might be due to some conflicts with plugins, have you tried disabling all non-WPML plugins, switching to one of the default themes, and checking whether the issue still persists or not?
Please remember to create a backup of your site (both files and the database) before making any updates or changes. This is always a good practice.
Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
