[Resolved] Duplicate cart content when changing product quantity
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: If you're experiencing cart duplication issues on your multilingual site, particularly when changing product quantities in languages other than English, it might seem related to WPML. However, the issue persists even when WPML is deactivated, indicating it is likely caused by another plugin or theme. Solution: We recommend you perform the following steps: 1. Deactivate all plugins except for the essentials to see if the problem persists. This helps identify if any other plugin is causing the conflict. 2. Switch to a default theme temporarily to rule out any theme-specific issues. 3. If the issue is resolved by the above steps, reactivate your plugins and theme one by one to pinpoint the exact cause. If these steps do not resolve the issue or if it appears complex, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, you can always contact us through our support forum at WPML Support Forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Background of the issue:
If you go to any product pages (for example Luxador MiLADY, or any other products pages) and add product to cart. Open cart and change quantity of product then there'll be no duplicates.
If you do the same steps but in German then it will show duplicated cart and every time when you increase or decrease quantity it'll show more and more duplicates.
I updates all plugins and WordPress version. I tried to deactivate plugins what probably could affect cart in popup but no results.
Can you help to solve this issue?
unfortunately I can't to do that because for cart what we made on our sandbox we used Elementor Pro version and I don't have extra license to activate Elementor Pro on your sandbox.
I added popup on sandbox and it duplicates cart content when I change product quantity.
But it started to happen when I translated popup before that when it was only in English everything works fine on both languages
I tested that on our sandbox and when I delete Cart Popup translation then it stops to duplicate content but when I add translation again it starts duplicate content

Hi there!
I was doing more test and the issue persiste with WPML deactivated.
I have added the cart widget to the home page and as you can see the issue persists when WPML plugins deactivated, that means that it is not related to WPML.
Hi,
I just did test on home page with cart and it's really interesting reaction.
I'll check cart widget and settings what we made and let you know if I get any answers
I didn't find the reason why it's happening but if I don't add translation for cart popup then content doesn't duplicate and that's fine with me.
I translated Cart and Continue via css so now everything seems okay.
We can close the ticket. Thank you for your time and help.
