Background of the issue:
I am building a new English-Hebrew business directory site using WPML and Directories Pro. I installed WPML on the original site, GushBook, and migrated from Polylang to WPML. I then installed WPML Import Export and followed all the instructions on the WPML site for export and then import (first two taxonomies, and then the business listings).

Symptoms:
The taxonomy export CSV is incorrect. The Hebrew and English taxonomy terms are linked correctly on GushBook, but not in the CSV file. For example, the English business listing category 'Railings' is incorrectly linked to the Hebrew category 'Animals' in the export file. While some export _wpml_import_translation_group values are correct and some fields are empty, most are simply incorrect.

Questions:
Why are the Hebrew and English taxonomy terms not linked correctly in the CSV file?
How can I export the taxonomy and ensure that the export _wpml_import_translation_group values are correct?

Repopulating did nothing. I also did some other cleaning, clearing, fixing in the troubleshooting page (hidden link) - nothing has changed.

Thanks for sharing. To be able to investigate the issue further, I need to create a copy of your website, so I can test solutions, check for conflicts without harming your live website. We usually do that by creating local copies, but the ones I created from your website were broken. In this case, I'd like to ask you to please create a staging version of the website - an exact copy of the production website.

You can leave the same user there, so you don't need to share credentials again. Please send the staging website link here, so I can access it. I know this takes some effort, so I appreciate your cooperation on this matter.
