Background of the issue:
I am trying to add translations using WPML on a different WPML account. The issue can be seen on the page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
I expected to see a translation, but instead encountered a fatal error: 'Fatal error: Uncaught InvalidArgumentException: Argument ID must be numeric and greater than 0.' This error occurred in /kunden/271842_74348/webseiten/scharnberg/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/classes/translations/class-wpml-translation-element.php on line 29.

Questions:
how to fix it?

Hi,

I will try to answer the question before assigning the ticket to one of my colleagues.

Would you please test if the same thing happens on a minimal installation?

- IMPORTANT STEP! Create a backup of your website. Or better approach will be to test this on a copy/staging version of the website to avoid any disruption of a live website.
- Switch to the default theme such as "TwentyTwenty" by going to "WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > themes".
- Go to "WordPress Dashboard > Plugins" and deactivate all plugins except WPML Multilingual CMS and WPML String Translation.
- Keep the WPML Media translation deactivated for the test.
- Check if you can still recreate the issue.
- If not, re-activate your plugins one by one and check the issue each time to find out the plugin that causes the problem.

If the issue persists, I'd appreciate it following the recommendation given in the ticket below:

https://wpml.org/forums/topic/fatal-error-on-new-page-or-product-creation/

If you manipulate the website database, make sure you have a backup before doing so.

Thanks.
