Across our site we have a major issue with translated buttons. Many of them show the original english text and point to the english pages even though they are translated correctly. See here: hidden link
Please let me have access to your site. Preferably, a staging site where the same issue occurs. Please also explain to me where I can see the button with this problem. It would be great if you could attach some screenshots. Also please explain to me how this issue is related to this previouse ticket you had: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/media-translation-not-linking-to-translated-pdfs-images/

Hi there,
So we have been dealing with a major issue of Media translation not providing the right PDFs and images. Your colleague managed to recreate it on a staging site and second tier support provided custom XML code, as can be seen in the previous thread. Now suddenly our buttons were displayed in the wrong language and when I removed the custom XML code, the problem disappeared, leading me to believe that the XML code caused the button issue. This means we still do not have a fix for our original problem. Maybe your colleague still has the staging site that they created? Because we have been through all of these steps before and we only realize that the last fix provided did not work, it would be great if we could pick it up from there instead of starting from scratch.
