This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to edit and save a translation in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE), but the translation is not saving as expected, and the network API runs in a loop. Additionally, you are unable to find links to translate in the old editor, and WPML doesn't update links to the correct translation even after scanning.
Solution:
We recommend using the previous version of the Advanced Translation Editor. In this version, you should start typing

http

in the search field to find and translate the links. In the recent version of the Advanced Translation Editor, you can click the padlock icon to unlock and translate the links. This should resolve the issue of not being able to complete the translation.

If this solution does not apply because it might be outdated or not suitable for your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Why can't I save the edited translation in ATE?
Is there a specific error preventing the save operation?

Unfortunatelly, in the old editor, I can't find links to translate. WPML doesn't update links to correct translation even when i scan links.

Hi,

In the previous version of the Advanced Translation Editor, you need to search for the link. Start typing "http" in the search field, and you should see the links and be able to translate them.

Also, in the recent version of the Advanced Translation Editor, you can click the padlock icon (see your screenshot) and translate the links. This should correct the problem of not being able to complete the translation.

Regards,
Itamar.
