4️⃣ I had to manually translate all subcategories, even though I paid for automatic translation. WPML did not recognize many strings, so I had to do all of it myself.

Hello,

I understand that this is not what you expected. But, WPML only charges for what is effectively translated.

I think that the subcategories may not have been in sync when the translation started and the strings not registered.

As you already translated them manually, there is nothing else that we can do here.

You can check your automatic translation credit consumption in WPML > Translation Dashboard > Translation tools > Automatic translation usage reports

Best Regards,
Otto
