yiannosM

i had an issue with the Greek menu staying expanded and opened a ticket on the 13/02.

Christopher Amirian, on the 17th of February gave me a solution, with a script change in the wp-content/plugins/elementor-pro/modules/popup/tag.php . It works, but every time i update the Plugin it is back to the problematic state.

Is there a way to have a permanent solution? I am already using a Child Theme, if that helps.

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly. If you are inserting the script into the theme, then it is expected that it would override when you update the theme.

A permanent solution will need to come from Elementor, as that is where the change is made. I don't believe a child theme will make a difference because the issue is coming from the plugin, not the theme. I suggest following up with Elementor as well and ask them to permanently make this adjustment in their plugin code.
