This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was experiencing an issue with the String Translation table on their staging site, which was not currently affecting the site's operation but could potentially become a critical issue. The problem was identified in the String Translation table in the database.
Solution:
We recommended checking the related strings WPML tables in the database for correct configuration. The client provided PHPMyAdmin access after some initial troubleshooting steps, including attempting to install a plugin for access, which was blocked by the hosting. Our 2nd tier support team then patched the database, resolving the issue without any error messages.
If this solution seems outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.
