This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to translate the secondary language on your site, but the animated headline is not displaying properly, and your shortcode content is also not showing. Solution: We have investigated your issue and determined that it is not related to WPML or the translation process. The problem persists even when WPML plugins are deactivated. To troubleshoot, create a new page without WPML, add the same widget with the same content, and observe if the issue remains. If the problem continues, it suggests that the issue might be with how the Chinese characters are rendered in the widget. Adjusting the font weight and size in Elementor does not resolve the issue, but removing one letter from the problematic word allows the widget to function correctly.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also suggest checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the secondary language on my site hidden link. The animated headline is not showing properly, and my shortcode content is also not displaying.
Symptoms:
The animated headline and shortcode content are not showing properly.
Questions:
How can I fix the animated headline not showing properly?
How can I resolve the issue with shortcode content not displaying?
Can you screenshot how your side look? Cause when I go to hidden link and use language switcher to switch to 中文 then can see the animated headline become 2 line if not same count of text for the last banner, kindly advise how to do to make it display correctly? Besides, can let me know how to translate whole shortcode?
Please check the font size and the margins and padding in this text widget.
If that didn't help, I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for the access details. I checked the issue and found that it happens because of how the Chinese words are written.
If you deactivate WPML plugins, create a new page, and add the same widget with the same sentence, you will face the same issue, so it's not a translation issue.
WPML does not cause the issue or how you translate this page. I edited the translated page using Elementor and changed the font weight and size, but the problem happened.
If you delete one letter of the problematic word, the widget works correctly.
We try to keep one issue per ticket in our forum. Continuing with one ticket per issue helps supporters focus on one issue at once and enables other users to find solutions to their questions faster.
Therefore, I've split the other issue and created a new ticket with this issue.
