Background of the issue:
I am using manual translation with WPML. When I delete some text or elements from the page, it still appears in the Advanced Translation Editor.
Symptoms:
Deleted text or elements from the page still appear in the Advanced Translation Editor.
Questions:
Why does deleted text or elements still appear in the Advanced Translation Editor?
How can I ensure that deleted content is removed from the Advanced Translation Editor?
Tested it recently with the newest versions of WPML(4.6.12) and Bricks(1.10.1) and the issue still exists. The bottom string is deleted from the page but appears in Translation Editor. Can you add a Delete button so I can manually delete such strings that I don't need to appear in the editor?
Hello.
It's been more than 2 months and no improvements on WPML Bricks side.
It's been only worse, I get a lot of duplicate strings and initial issue is not solved.
Moreover, sometimes when I update the page in the original language and then press reload icon on the translation and translate everything when it says 100% completed translation I click Complete Translation but the translated page does not update.
Why there are no such issues with Elementor?
Can you please fix these issues? It is really frustrating working with Bricks with multilingual website.
This fix requires the WPML team and bricks team to work together to get this fixed and it's in-progress. I will update you here as soon as I will receive any further feedbacks from them.
If you see any new issues rather than the original issue reported here, I would suggest you to create a new ticket.
Our compatibility team informed that, this should have also been fixed in bricks latest release (1.11).
Can you try and see if it helps.
Thanks
