Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where translated strings on their website are unexpectedly capitalized, unlike the original language which displays normal font styling. Additionally, the client faces problems with the WPML translation editor, which either keeps loading indefinitely or shows an error message stating 'Unable to retrieve assignment details'.
Solution:
1. Ensure that all plugins, themes, and WordPress core components are up-to-date to maintain compatibility and security. Updates can be managed via https://h4test.h4tech.be/wp-admin/update-core.php.
2. To address the translation issue:
- Edit the page in the original language.
- Make a minor change and save it.
- Navigate to WPML -> Translation Dashboard, select the page, and assign it to yourself for translation.
- Proceed to WPML -> Translations and update the translation of the page.
3. If the issue persists or if the translated content reverts to the original, please provide a URL where this can be observed without prior modification for further investigation.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a page using WPML. The original language has a normal font, but the translated strings are capitalised for no reason. This issue is not consistent. You can see the issue on this page: hidden link

Questions:
Why are the translated strings capitalised when the original language is not?
How can I ensure consistent font styling in translations?

I have updated the page manually, but the error will probably come back when updating the page.

I updated WordPress to the newest version. It seems like I can not have access to the FR and EN translation editor screen: hidden link

When will all these bugs stop. I am tired of this

No not anymore. I want to change the translation and see if the translation comes back, but I am unable to edit the translation. This is an even worse problem.

We can only solve one issue per ticket, but because there was no reproducible issue in the first place, let's continue with the next one. If necessary, I will split this ticket to deal with other problems independently.

Please describe step-by-step how to reproduce the issue you are facing when trying to update the translation. Share the URL of the content and screenshots where the problem can be seen (the screenshots are optional if you share the URL).

I am inside WP admin. I click on the edit translation logo for a specific page. The editor opens, an error message shows up and the page keeps on loading forever.

The error message is: "Kan opdrachtdetails niet ophalen" => "Unable to retrieve assignment details"

Please follow these steps:
- Edit the page in the original language
- Make a small change to the content and save the changes
- Go to WPML -> Translation Dashboard -> Select the page and assign it to yourself for translation
- Go to WPML -> Translations -> Update the translation of the page

Can you tell me if the issue disappeared and ATE loads correctly?

Seems to work. I find the WPML plugin pretty unreliable. I have already needed to refresh the translation of every page multiple times, because it changes back to it original language. Now this problem, ...

If the content changes back to the original, then there might be another problem. Please share a URL where the translated content has been overwritten with the original one so we can investigate this further.

This was the case for the same page. But I already resaved the (same) translation, so you can not see it anymore. The translations are always still viewable in the translation editor, but the original language is shown in that case; very annoying the unreliability

In this case, I kindly ask you to open a ticket/chat if you see the issue again and try not to modify it, so we can investigate what is causing this problem.

It is also valuable that you describe the steps you took right before the issue happened again.
