As you can see in the two attached screenshots, I'm getting duplicate fields and field groups when I change from English to Japanese.

Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you're having. While checking the WPML Debug Information, I found that the Translation preference for the ACF Field Group is set to "Translatable".

It seems you've translated/duplicated the "Archive Option" field group and in these translated groups, the display setting might remain unchanged.

This could explain why the field group and field appear twice in other languages. To solve the issue, you can go to "Custom Field > Field Groups" and search for the name of the extra field groups that appear in the Editor. If that appears in the result, remove that field group.

Kindly be informed that it is not required to translate the Field group as the Field group contents can easily be translated from String Translation.
