I understand the issue you're facing. These classes and tags usually get inserted if the translation was added by copying and pasting from other sources or by using the WYSIWYG field available in the Classic Translation Editor.
Since you're using the Classic Translation Editor, please try the following steps to see if they help in removing the HTML tags and classes:
1. Open the default post in the WordPress Editor.
2. Click on the Pencil icon in the Language Meta section.
3. When the translation editor loads, find the translated paragraph that contains the tags and classes.
4. Switch to the Text view, as shown in this screenshot: hidden link.
5. If the classes appear there, remove them along with the tags, and keep only the Paragraph tag.
If you prefer, you can switch to the Advanced Translation Editor by navigating to WPML > Settings and then translating the page. This method will ensure that only the classes and tags present in the default language are retained in the translation.
Please let me know if the steps above help or if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.
Best regards,
Prosenjit
