Hello, every time in the past month or 2 we update a product in our main site language (french) and then translate to English the price shows correctly on desktop (with tax included) in both french and english but then on mobile the english for some reason shows only the price without taxes. we end up having to change the price save it and then clear cache and change it back to the correct price. that corrects it. but then the next time we make even a one word change on that product page and then update the english it goes back to showing the wrong price in mobile.

Do you have an update that solves this? or any ideas?

Hello there,

Thank you for waiting. We've analyzed the database on our local copy, and noticed that the entry with post name: flypad-tapis-de-monte-vahana, has the ID 31277. Checking the icl_translations table, I see it has language code "all" and not "fr". Check the attached image.

There is a translation to English but the source language code is also wrong - if you have the original element set to "all" then the translation source language should also be "all", or the original language code should be "fr"

The fix is to run this command on your DB. Make sure to have a full website backup before proceeding:

UPDATE `wp_icl_translations` SET
`language_code` = 'fr'
WHERE `element_id` = '31277';

Please check if your live website's DB has the same prefix (wp_). If it doesn't, you can adjust the command to match your prefix. Let me know how it goes.

Hello I was standing by via my email. told me to look out for an update there. I didn't know to check here. I thought this was escalated and going to be handled by another team?

Is this info coming from the other team? or you having another idea?
if you idea...thank you or if this is coming from them this is not the solution :

French is the main language on the site so there shouldn't be a /fr/. as I said it was supposed to be

hidden link

not
hidden link

If editing in the database works then great. but that doesn't explain why and how it happened. I had simply updated the price.

Please let me know the correct database change you suggest baring in mind the lack of /fr/ I just mentioned

Also
Also every time we update anything on a product the prices go bad. that's how this ticket got started. We need to have this fixed.

In the meantime our site main product is still down in english.

Hey there,

You'll receive updates about this ticket on your email, but the communication per se happens here 🙂

The ticket was escalated internally, so the solution I shared was provided by the development team. Since I'm the designated supporter here, I'm working alongside them and providing you the solutions here.

Now, about the solution itself. Allow me to explain: the language code was incorrect for that specific product (we are not sure why, there isn't really a way to know that at this point). The fix we provided will solve the issue, assigning the correct language code to that product, which is 'fr'. Since your website's default language is French, and it is set not to use a language directory for the default, your final URL for the product will be:

hidden link

as expected.

If updating the price causes the issue to happen again, please let me know so we can further investigate that. As of right now, the provided fix should work. Please notify me if the provided solution actually solves the issue with the original URL, so we can check the prices problem.

You said: "Also every time we update anything on a product the prices go bad. that's how this ticket got started. We need to have this fixed."

I didn't jump into this issue right away, as you asked to first fix the main URL. Can you provide more details on what happens? If possible, provide the expected and actual behavior, and also screenshots that help me to better understand the issue.

Hi there,

I understand this is frustrating, but there’s no direct chat with the advanced team — I’m your dedicated supporter and I’m here to help you all the way.

It seems you missed my last message or ignored it altogether. To move forward, we need you to first apply the solution I shared earlier and confirm whether the initial issue with the product URL is resolved. Once that’s confirmed, we can properly investigate the pricing issue.

Looking forward to your update so we can continue. Please tell me if you want me to send this to another supporter.

Best regards,
Lucas

that worked. thank you. I have to rush now to implement all the changes that we needed to make fore our ad campaign that I couldn't until now. but we still need to tackle the original issue. can you keep this ticket open so we can tackle this after?

I pray that my changes and then the language update of that product won't cause the issue again.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your results. Please note that tickets remain open for up to 14 days of inactivity. A ticket is only closed automatically if no messages are sent during this period.

Please let me know how it goes. If the issue with the prices occurs, please describe it to me in detail, so I can investigate it. If possible, send me screenshots or videos showing the issue. I'll be here if you have any questions.
