This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client was having issues with an archive page created with Bricks builder, where they used a loop to display categories and dynamic data to call the featured image from an Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) field for custom taxonomy types.
Solution:
We recommended the client to manually edit the translated taxonomy that was causing the issue and simply click save. This action should resolve the problem with the display of the translated taxonomy.
If you're experiencing a similar issue, we recommend you try manually editing the translated taxonomy and saving it. However, this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If the problem persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket at our support forum.

Hello, We created a custom taxonomy called "Type" for our custom post type called "Product". So we translated some product in French (the raw cakes and mousses) here : hidden link Thank you. |

Hello, thanks for contacting us. 1) Can you please in the backend, when editing the category manually switch to 2nd language via the top bar switch and check if the images are set there correctly and are showing? 2) Can you go to Media library > All and switch languages and check if the same image exists in both languages? Let me know how it goes. Regards, |

Hello, thanks for getting back. Okay, that looks like all is fine with custom fields and images, so let's check Bricks and if the images are correct and are correctly set. I am not sure how are you building that page or if it is some template, but if you can please edit it also in 2nd language and make sure the correct translated category, etc is selected for that translated page / template. Let me know how it goes. Regards, |

"I am not sure how are you building that page or if it is some template". Ok, here is the explanation. the page "hidden link" is an archive page. so in Bricks, we created a template for the archive page for products. We created a loop to display category (see attached file) and we used the dynamic data to call the feature image created in ACF for custom taxonomy types to display the image (see second image). Then we use the default editor for translations in WPML (see third image). Greetings, |

Hello, thanks for sharing more info. Looks like it should work just fine, could be it is a bug or something else went wrong. Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply. Please note, that I might need to do some debugging procedures like enable/disable plugins, switch themes, change the default language of the user account, and/or access your website database to debug the issue furtherly. I will share with you any changes or steps done in this process. Please let me know if you do not agree with the above or if I do not have your permission for any. I would need to access both your site's wp-admin and FTP account, if possible. I have enabled the private username and password fields in your next reply. I suggest you create a new user, set it as an administrator and then add those credentials in the private fields mentioned. You can safely add your information into these fields. Regards, |

Hello, thanks. I just checked and it seems to work fine now. Probably something was not saved correctly when the image was copied, so what I did was edit type in FR and just click update/save button. - hidden link Regards, |

Dear Drazen, Great thank you. But could you be more precise when you say "what I did was edit type in FR", where did you go ? Do you have a print screen ? In this way we can solve this bug on the production website and close this ticket 🙂 |

Hello, so I edited your taxonomy (product_type) in FR, for example, raw-cakes-fr and just saved it. I do not have access to the site anymore so I can not share printscreen, but basically you should manually edit the translated taxonomy that is having issue and just click save. Let me know if you need more info. Regards, |
