Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the Woodmart theme, which is compatible with WPML, to display a sale tag in Arabic on my website. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I encountered a fatal error related to the sale tag.

Symptoms:
Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: 3 arguments are required, 2 given in /home/customer/www/conceptual.ae/public_html/wp-content/themes/woodmart/inc/integrations/woocommerce/template-tags.php:1699.

Questions:
Why is the sale tag in Arabic causing a fatal error?
How can I resolve the ArgumentCountError in the Woodmart theme?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. To confirm whether it is indeed a compatibility problem with the latest versions, I have created a test site. You can access it here:

The site already has WPML configured in two languages. Please install Woodmart, create and translate a product, and set it on Sale. Let's see how it behaves in this isolated environment. I know this requires some effort, so I truly appreciate your understanding in advance.

and it worked, but I don't think we simulate my website correctly, because if we need to simulate it correctly I need to translate the theme, and that will take from me days not few hours

Thank you for sharing. Let me get it straight:

1. The default Woodmart theme works as expected, correct?
2. Does the issue only happen to your child-theme?
3. How did you translate the child theme?

I'm asking because this can help us understand where the issue is. Thanks again for your cooperation. Please answer all of the 3 previous question 🙂
