This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to translate an English page into Dutch using WPML, but the Flip Card module from the Divi Flip Cards plugin is not showing in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). All other content is available for translation, but the flip cards are missing, even though the ATE lists the translation as 100% complete.
Solution:
The Divi Flip Cards plugin is not WPML compatible by default. To translate the flip cards, you need to register the Divi module with WPML. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Identify the Divi module's (Flip Card) shortcode and its attributes.
2. Navigate to WPML -> Settings -> Custom XML Configuration.
3. Follow our guide on registering Divi modules and add the necessary XML configuration as described.
4. Open the page containing the module, resave it without making any changes.
5. Update the translation, and you should then see the content from the module in ATE.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the English page into Dutch using WPML. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The Flip Card module is not showing in the Advanced Translation Editor (ATE). All content is available for translation except the flip cards. The ATE lists the translation as 100% complete, but the flip cards are missing.

Questions:
Why are the flip cards missing from the translation?
How can I ensure all modules, including flip cards, are available for translation?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Unfortunately the "Divi Flip Cards" plugin isn't WPML compatible, however, this is a common case where plugins offer such page builder widgets/modules which need registering with WPML before these can be translated.

Please check our guide on registering Divi modules. All you need to try the following:

- Find the Divi module's (Flip Card) shortcode and its attributes.
- Go to WPML -> Settings -> Custom XML Conifguration.
- Add it there as per the guide and save.
- Open the page having the module, resave it without making any change.
- Update translation and you should see the content from the module in ATE.

Regards.

Hi Waqas,

Thank you for the answer. I have created a custom XML config file and am waiting for the translator to test before closing this thread.

Can i ask if you have experience slowing ATE loading times when switch from your remote XML to a custom one? I have had some instances when creating the custom config file of the ATE taking at least a couple of minutes to load up...

Regards,

Thank you for the updates, please take your time and feel free to reply to this thread if you need more help regarding Divi's module registration via custom XML.

Apparently the custom XML shouldn't put any overheads on the performance relating ATE, because this is stored on your side and is processed just like the other XML config included by a theme/plugin and processed. The custom XML simply overrides an existing config or adds new when default isn't available.

The performance issue between your site and ATE may be due to other reasons, for example, server resources, connection slow down, any conflict or etc. However, if you need more help regarding it, I recommend opening a separate ticket/chat because as per forum policy we can only handle one issue per ticket. So you can get more to the point help, without mixing up several issues in one long ticket.

Thanks for your help. The translator has tested and has no current issues.
