This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You have images linking to other sites on your multilingual website and need these links to point to the corresponding content in different languages, but cannot find where to change the link.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you follow these steps:
1. Edit the page in the original language.
2. Edit the images and any other elements that contain the links.
3. Ensure the link URLs are full URLs (e.g.,

https://domain.com/link

) and not partial URLs (e.g.,

/link

). Save the changes if necessary.
4. Update the translation.
5. If the issue persists, go to WPML -> Settings -> Adjust links section -> Click on the button and wait for the process to finish.
6. Double-check if the issue disappeared.

This solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I have several images which link to other sites on my website hidden link. The base language is German, and I want to translate the image links to point to the corresponding content in other languages, like changing /site/content to en/site/content.

Symptoms:
I cannot translate the image links, and there is no place where I can change the link.

Questions:
How can I translate image links using WPML?

Please follow these steps:
- Edit the page in the original language
- Edit the images and any other elements that contain the links
- Make sure the link URLs are full URLs (hidden link) and not partial URLs (/link) -> Save the changes if necessary
