Background of the issue:
I added modifications on my French main page in my website. I am trying to translate a new module added to the page, but I can't see the modifications. The issue can be seen on the following pages: hidden link and hidden link.

Symptoms:
The modifications are not visible for translation in WP. I expected to see the module added, but instead, I got nothing.

Questions:
Why are the modifications not visible for translation?
How can I make the new module appear in the translation?

Hey there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.

It looks like you’re editing translations directly using the Divi page builder. This can cause problems.

By default, WPML uses its Translation Editor to create and manage translations. If you start a translation with the Translation Editor, you should not edit that translation directly in Divi or the WordPress editor — this can break the link between the original and translated pages and cause layout or content issues.

If you want to build translations directly with Divi or the WordPress editor, you first need to disable the Translation Editor for that page. You can follow the steps here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/

Please note:

- If you edit translations directly, changes on the original page won’t apply automatically to translations — you’ll need to update them manually.
- If you want translations to always match the layout of the original, use the WPML Translation Editor and don’t edit the translation directly.

If that does not help, one of my colleagues will soon come to continue support.

Hello,

I'm not editing translation using directly Divi but the WPML translation manager. I always use it.

How can I change the way of translation to have automatically my modifications lisible ?

Hello,

I see the currently set WP MEMORY LIMIT is 128M.

Please take a look at WPML > Support > PHP and revise the current memory usage of your site. If it is close to 128M or more, you might need to consider changing the WP MEMORY LIMIT inside the file wp-config.php to a higher value, like for example 256M.

After that, make an edit to the original content, save the page and translate it again.

In doubt, please also try to clear the cache inside the admin bar by selecting WP rocket's cache option and then clearing the cache in all languages.

If this will still not solve the issue, please let me know.

It would be great if you could confirm if the module's text is actually available on the WPML Translation Editor and the name of the module that you are trying to translate.

Best regards
Andreas
